DFC Psychology

In the last 12 months, more than half of Australians aged 14 and above encountered obstacles when seeking mental health assistance (Mental Health Australia, 2023 Report).

Furthermore, the strain on mental health services continues to grow, with 1 in 3 psychologists across the country unable to see new clients. It’s a stark increase from pre-pandemic years when the same statistic sat at 1 in 100.

In partnership with the Institute of Social Neuroscience (ISN), ISN Clinic At Danny Frawley Centre provides accessible and essential psychological services to the community at a low to no cost.

Staffed by provisional psychologists undergoing their initial placement as part of their Master’s or Doctoral degree program at ISN, the clinic focuses on delivering top-tier, evidence-based interventions, catering for early intervention (including mental health illnesses such as depression and anxiety) and preventative mental health needs.

If you would like to make an appointment to see a psychologist, please book an intake phone call by clicking here. The intake session is FREE; a phone call typically lasts 15-30 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not a crisis service. For emergencies, please get in touch with a crisis support line or call 000.
